Agenda

  • Day 1

    April 2, 2019

  • Registration, badge pick-up and continental breakfast served.

  • Why being a PF will make your business more profitable.

  • During this session we’ll focus on the expected and unexpected benefits of becoming a payment facilitator. The panel includes three software companies/payment facilitators that will provide insights and real examples of their journeys to becoming a PF and what benefits they knew they would get but also what were some of the benefits they didn’t expect to get.

  • The exhibit area will be open. Please visit our sponsors and exhibitors during this time.

  • There are many difficult and important decisions that a software company must make when deciding to becoming a payment facilitator. During this 3 part session, we’ll review the entire PF ecosystem and detail each of these major decisions. During this first part we’ll look at how a transaction is handled at the POS, as well as how the transaction data is secured, culminating with a discussion around using a stand-alone gateway versus an integrated gateway.

  • In the second session of the "PF Journey Explained" series we’ll discuss with a panel of processors what they provide the ecosystem, how to work with them and some of the lessons learned.

  • The final session of the "PF Journey Explained" series will focus on some of the technology tools that overlay the first two sessions – what technology from boarding, to underwriting, to back office tools do you need to succeed as a PF?

  • Booth area will be open during the lunch hour.

  • As the title suggests we’re going to speak with software companies/PFs from around the world to understand what the PF environment is like outside the US. What compliance factors, government regulations and business environments globally affect being a payment facilitator.

  • So… you’ve been a payment facilitator for a couple of years now, what would you have done differently based on what you know now. We’ll hear from 3 existing PFs on their journey – truly the good, the bad and the ugly.

  • The exhibit area will be open. Please visit our sponsors and exhibitors.

  • Payments, software, payments + software – all hot areas in the investment community. We’ll discuss why so many investment dollars are being allocated, what are some of the lessons learned, why roll-ups make sense and how everyone wins at the exit.

  • Last year we heard how the PF model is still in the early innings. Beyond the year 2020 what should we expect – where is this all heading – what does the future hold for a software company that wants to integrate payments. Learn the answers to these questions and many more from some of the top minds in payments.

  • Day 1 wrap up. Please join us for a reception directly following Day 1 sessions.
